Internet technology has already become an everyday media tool around the world, because of this the Indonesian cookstove network will continue to use and develop its web page www.tungku.or.id as a media for disseminating cookstove program.
It is hoped this web site can also be used by the network members to share both, information and experiences relating to the use of cookstoves.

Programs >> Capacity Building
Capacity Building
The first problems to emerge when the stove program was originally being developed, was; do organisations already understand the problems relating to stoves and healthy kitchens and furthermore how are these problems best approached? How should the stove program be developed? And many other questions relating to the development of the program.
The capacity building program was carried out to increase the knowledge and capacity of the network participants in the field of developing the stove and healthy kitchen program. This capacity building program will organise training for trainers (TOT), seminars, workshops, and the exchange of expertise.
training of trainers.
This training is carried out, to increase the knowledge and skills of organisation personal that work in the field of cookstoves.
It is hoped that the participants of this training will be able to hold workshops in their respective areas and pass on their knowledge and skills onto local communities or local organisations that are interested in the program for the development of cookstoves.
seminars and workshops.
Seminars and workshops will embrace various topics, such as the system for documenting the stoves that the community uses at the present time and new innovations in stove use and design etc…
exchange of expertise.
JKTI, are able to send an expert to communities that are in need of advice and guidance about, stove technology and or healthy kitchens that both, fit the requirements of the community and are appropriate for the local area.
internship.
It is felt that internships should be open to the participants of the basic stove training, so that the knowledge and skills gained during the training can be directly used in the development of cookstoves. The internship participants will directly work in a field appropriate to their work and resources in their local area such as; charcoal production, palm sugar production, etc.
Programs >> Member Meeting
The Indonesian Stove Network (JKTI) Institution Meeting.
The Indonesian Stove Network (JKTI) Institution Meeting will, hopefully, be attended by many institutions such as NGOs, Education Institutes, Research Institutes, or individual that possesses interest to stove development. In the meeting, participants could exchange information one another and arrange strategic planning for stove program development in Indonesia in the next 3 years.
By the meeting, a need assessment survey will be carried out to recognize the participants' real demand or needs in improving and supporting their local stove program. In the survey, people who cares with stoves is requested some of their ideas and opinion on how to improve and develop the stove program, in order that it will directly be succeeded in Indonesia.
